Welcome to RollaWord (the "Game"), a free daily word game available at www.rollaword.com (the "Site"). The Site is operated by Divina Orciga ("we," "us," or "our"), based in the Philippines. By using the Site or playing the Game, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who May Use RollaWord

RollaWord is intended for a general adult audience. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the Site, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

2. The Game

RollaWord offers a Free Play mode and a Daily Challenge in which players build words from a rack of lettered tiles and earn a score. The Game is provided for entertainment. We may change, pause, or discontinue any part of the Game, including daily puzzles, scoring rules, word lists, and features, at any time and without notice.

3. Word Lists and Definitions

The Game uses its own word list to decide which words are valid. We do our best to make this list fair and sensible, but it is not an official dictionary, and a word you believe is valid may not be accepted. Our decisions about word validity within the Game are final. Word definitions shown in the Game are supplied by a third-party service (FreeDictionaryAPI.com) and are provided for convenience only. We do not guarantee that they are complete or accurate, and they may sometimes be unavailable.

4. Leaderboard and Player Names

Players who reach the Top 10 of a Daily Challenge may be asked to enter a name for the public leaderboard. Your name, score, and the puzzle date are stored and shown publicly. To help distinguish players with the same name, the Site may also use an anonymous player ID stored in your browser. Please do not use your full real name, contact details, or other personal information as a leaderboard name.

You agree not to enter names that are offensive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, misleading, or that impersonate another person or organization. We may remove any leaderboard entry or name at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

5. Acceptable Use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

• cheat, use automated tools or scripts to play or submit scores, or manipulate the leaderboard;
• attempt to hack, overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or related services;
• copy, scrape, or redistribute the Game's daily puzzles, word list, or code in bulk without our permission;
• use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates the rights of others;
• click on or otherwise interact with advertisements for the purpose of generating revenue, or encourage others to do so.

6. Intellectual Property

The Game, including its design, code, name, logo, puzzles, text, and other content, is owned by us or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may play the Game and share links to it, including daily puzzle links, for personal, non-commercial purposes. All other rights are reserved. The name "RollaWord" and any related branding may not be used without our written permission.

7. Advertising and Third-Party Services

The Site may display advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense, in order to cover the costs of running the Game. The Site also relies on third-party services such as Firebase (for leaderboard storage), our hosting provider, and FreeDictionaryAPI.com (for definitions). These services have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we do not control or endorse their content. Please see our Privacy Policy for details about the information collected when you use the Site.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the Site running smoothly, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free, or free of interruptions. Scores, leaderboard entries, and daily puzzles may occasionally be delayed, lost, corrected, or reset.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and the Game are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Use of the Site is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or the Game. Because the Game is free, our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Players Outside the Philippines

The Site is operated from the Philippines but may be accessed by players around the world, including in the United States. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you where you live. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights you may have under mandatory law in your own country.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Site shall be brought in the appropriate courts of the Philippines, unless applicable law requires otherwise. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern informally.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
